First things first, the video above might give you the impression that it must be a very hard and herculean process to create video mockups like this.
But the truth is, we will guide you through the step-by-step process of not only creating this kind of video mockup, but also demonstrating how to do it in bulk.
Here are the steps –
There are many places you can buy a video mockup template from. We suggest you go to the Creative Market or Etsy.
For our sample, we purchased a video mockup from Etsy which is dynamic and looks great.
Whenever you buy a video mockup template, you’ll get two kinds of files. One is a PSD mockup file and the other is the video assets.
Open the PSD file from the template folder in Photoshop.
Whenever you open a PSD file for a video mockup, this error will show up.
In the error prompt, you can see which file needs to be relinked. So click on the “Relink” button and find the missing video from your video assets provided by the seller.
After that is done, to enable the video properties, you need to go to windows and select timeline.
This will enable the video properties and from there you can watch the video by taking the cursor on the beginning and hitting the play button.
Now you’re ready to go to the next step.
On the layers panel, double click on the smart object and put your design inside the smart object.
Insert your design in the middle. Press “Ctrl + S” and your design is ready to be showcased.
After that, the editing steps depend on you.
In this particular video wall art mockup template, you have the option to change the wall, molding, frame and border color.
Keep things as is or mix and match to your heart’s content.
Now to export the video mockup, go to “File” → “Export” → “Render Video”.
This will open the export options prompt.
Now renaming the file, selecting export location is as is.
The important thing to lookout for is, “Adobe Media Encoder”
This may show an error, if you don’t have “Adobe Media Encoder” in your computer. You can download the encoder from the Adobe Cloud.
Keep all the other options as is and hit the “Render” button on top right.
An awesome video mockup template for your wall art business is done.
To create video mockups in Bulk, we will take the help of Bulkmockup Photoshop Plugin, our bulk mockup generator.

To make the template work with Bulkmockup, we need to rename the smart object layer as “@design”.
This is a crucial step and must be done.
Open Bulk Mockup and set all the appropriate folders to it.
The main three folders are –
Then we choose, Setting → Export → mp4
Now just go the main menu and hit “Start Generating”
Once you’ve completed that task, go enjoy some time with your dog or do something you like, because your work here is finished. Let Bulk Mockup take care of the rest of the heavy lifting for you in an automated manner.
